Shakespeare on a Budget

Posted by: | February 23, 2010 | Comments (0)

Come to Oglethorpe University on Thursday, February 25th , Friday, February 26th, or Saturday, February 27th (or, hey, come to all three!) for the  abridged version of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare,” presented by Rehearsal Room C (Oglethorpe’s student-led theatre group).

This Monty Python-style comedy incorporates Shakespeare’s 37 plays and154 sonnets into one hysterical 99 minute period, starring students Ben Silver, Danielle Hitchcock, and Christo Taoushiani. You’re sure to have a good laugh, and let’s face it, in this economy, who couldn’t use one?

Only $1 for Oglethorpe students, faculty, and alumni, and only $2 for everyone else! All shows start at 8 p.m., with one additional show on the 26th at 11 p.m. — so no excuses. If you’re looking for an entertaining time, Oglethorpe is definitely the place to find it this weekend.
